Pinnaroo Stories gave the people of Pinnaroo the chance to tell their stories, stories about local people, local places and past events.
All the stories were recorded as a series of podcasts that will be a wonderful record of the town, its people, and its history.
Mona helped to bring Pinnaroo stories to life while also teaching the community how to create a good podcast. We’re so excited to have the end product available to hear soon – so keep an eye out!
About the Artist
Mona Khizam is a highly experienced teacher, community filmaker, writer, and artist. She is interested in the place of art in our lives and the importance of gathering communities together through storytelling. She is the founder and director of SAGA: Woman’s Film Festival
