One of the fun projects here at The Pinnaroo Project was designing and painting your own cup. Easy to do and all you need is some special pens, a mug and a home oven to set the paint.
Follow these basic steps too create beauty in your hand.

- On a white cup, mug or plate. With an acrylic pen (see below) paint the clean surface of the porcelain.
- If you don’t like what you have made, simply wipe it off. A damp cloth may help.
- Be careful, as fingers may smudge the artwork.
- For little kids, cut out a stencil, blue tack it on and have them paint around the stencil. When completed remove it and the blueback.
- When the artwork is completed, put it into an over, about 45min at 160C will set the paint.
