Pinnaroo Printmakers exhibition
Everyone is invited to drop in to the Mallee Tourist and Heritage Centre in Pinnaroo for the Printmakers exhibition on Friday 4th April between 5:00 and 6:30.
The exhibition of community created printmaking from workshops over the last 9 months will be on show. Visiting artists Simone Tippett and Damien Warman and local artists Julie Wallis and Morrison Polkinghorne will be demonstrating the use of the old printmaking machines.
The Pinnaroo Project Co Chairperson, Julie Wallis said “we are so excited to show the community how we can use the old printing machines in the Heritage centre, the activation of the Heidelburg, Albion, Adana and Ronai printing presses has been so much fun.”
Light refreshements will be provided for the community to drop in and watch the printing machines in use and view the community works.
“Morrison and I have had a great time learning about the function of the machines and other hand printmaking techniques. We now have the confidence to share with the community, recently we have delivered workshops in Geranium, Lameroo, Parilla an Pinnaroo.
This concludes the Pinnaroo Printmakers grant which was made possible with the support of Country arts SA and the Regional Arts Fund.
